Attorney Margaret Hibbs Selected to Greater Des Moines Leadership Institue

BrownWinick would like to congratulate Attorney Margaret Hibbs on being selected to the 2022 class of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute's Community Leadership Program. In addition to this program, Maggie is also involved with the Polk County and Iowa State Bar Associations, Polk County Women Attorneys, West Des Moines Business Incubator, and the Iowa Youth Chorus.

The Community Leadership Program is comprised of leaders from both the public, private, and non-profit sectors of the metro community. The program prepares leaders to be effective stewards for our community's future through a nine-month curriculum. Programming allows participants to understand Greater Des Moines from different perspectives, provides them with a more in-depth awareness of current community conditions and issues along with building leadership skills on both the individual and group levels.

Participation in the program is highly coveted and very competitive with many candidates applying more than once. Participants are held to a firm attendance policy to ensure a robust experience for the individual and group. The schedule includes 14-partial day classes, 1 one-and-a-half-day opening retreated and 1 one-day mid-year retreat, class projects, and a full-day commencement.
