BrownWinick attorneys attended the 18th Annual Polk County Women Attorney's Basket Auction on October 3,2019.
The Basket Auction benefits the Young Women's Resource Center, a local 501(c)(3) organization that works with young mothers and at-risk girls in the greater Des Moines community. The Basket Auction consists of both a silent auction -- comprised of donations from local businesses -- and a live auction featuring baskets donated by local law firms. A group of BrownWinick attorneys donated a "Fall into Autumn" basket that included, among other things, a Yeti cooler, Yeti mugs, a blanket scarf, fall-themed candles, and a gift certificate to a workshop at The Knotty Nail, a BrownWinick client. Currently, BrownWinick attorneys Maggie Hibbs and Sarah Wilson serve on the Polk County Women Attorneys Board.
