The United States Department of Labor ("DOL") has issued a Final Rule implementing changes to the military leave component of the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 ("FMLA"), prompting an update to several of the existing FMLA forms. The DOL has also issued a new form for FMLA leave taken by employees who serve as a military caregiver. The form (Certification for Serious Injury or Illness of a Veteran for Military Caregiver Leave) as well as the other updated forms can be found on the DOL website at: DOL Forms.
