Five Attorneys Admitted as Members at BrownWinick

We are pleased to announce that the firm has recently voted to admit attorneys Chris Long, Ann Spellman, Abigail Hillers, Brennan Block and Ross Curnow as Members of  BrownWinick effective January 1, 2025.

Chris has been with the firm since 2023 but has practiced for over 30 years in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration.  Chris provides her clients guidance in transferring business interests, real estate and other assets to family, friends, and charity during life and at death.  

Ann has been with the firm since 2023 primarily practicing in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.  She also does work in the areas of premarital agreements, corporate matters, and business succession planning. Ann views estate planning as an ongoing process and recognizes the varying needs clients may have as their lives and family situations change.  

Abigail has been with the firm since 2023 and her practice is primarily focused on estate planning, business succession planning, real estate transactions and business planning. In her role, Abigail works with clients to examine and clarify the situation, identify short and long-term goals and produce the desired results.  

Brennan has been with the firm since 2018 and is actively involved in the area of business transactions, serving as the Co-chair of the Corporate/M&A practice group for a number of years. In his role, he serves clients as their transactional attorney every step of the way, helping them plan for and assess business opportunities and transactions throughout the enterprise life cycle, from formation and operations through transition by succession, sale or dissolution.  

Ross has been with the firm since 2021 and is actively involved in the areas of business transactions and real estate. In this role, he serves clients with early-stage formation, corporate governance and owner relations, and contractual relationships. Additionally, he specializes in agricultural, commercial, and residential real estate transactions.  

These five attorneys bring a wealth of knowledge and diverse experience to their practices, strengthening our ability to serve clients across a wide range of industries. Their dedication to upholding BrownWinick’s values ensures that our clients will continue to benefit from the highest levels of legal representation and strategic guidance.
