The BrownWinick law firm chose Blank Children's Hospital Festival of Trees & Lights again in 2017 as part of their continued efforts to give back to the community.
BrownWinick sponsored a tree at the Festival, its attorneys and staff contributed funds in exchange for wearing jeans to work, and also donated over 590 books to be used by the patients at Blank. In addition, BrownWinick attorneys and staff volunteered their time during the first day of the Festival, Wednesday, November 22, 2017, by helping with the activities and concessions at the event. The tree sponsored by BrownWinick was given to a local family in need.
In addition to these activities, BrownWinick staff decorated a Neighborhood Tree for the Neighborhood Tree Silent Auction that took place during the Festival. Staff and attorneys worked hard in advance of the Festival to develop a theme and decorations for the tree as well as themed gifts to fill around the base of the tree. The BrownWinick Neighborhood tree, which was “Lego” themed, raised $720.00 that directly benefits the programs at Blank Children’s Hospital.
