BrownWinick and the firm’s Wellness Committee helped support the fight against heart disease by participating in the 2019 Des Moines Heart Walk on Saturday, May 4, 2019. BrownWinick employees and their family members participated, joining the firm’s Heart Walk Team for a 1- and 3-mile walk across the city.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in both men and women. Approximately 610,000 people in the U.S. die of heart disease every year – that’s 1 in every 4 deaths. Half of all Americans have at least one of the three risk factors: high blood pressure, high LDL and smoking.
BrownWinick and the Wellness Committee are raising awareness to support the fight against heart disease!
