As a transactional associate here at BrownWinick, it is my duty to guide you and your business through every obstacle or opportunity that arises. Whether it be early-stage formation, corporate governance and owner relations, or transactions and contractual relations with third-party companies, I am here to service your requests and expectations as efficiently as possible.
Reflecting on the performance of those roles, I pride myself on the fact that not only have I consistently assisted my clients to achieve their personal and professional goals, but also the strong, long-term relationships that were cultivated in the process.
In addition to my business transactional practice, I also specialize in residential and commercial real estate as well as regulatory compliance in Iowa’s casino and gaming industry. In the gaming context, I have successfully prepared and presented license renewals, transaction approvals, and corporate financing packages to the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.
While I always maintain my attorney advisor role, I do make a concerted effort to approach your issues and opportunities through your perspective and as a member of your team. I want you to rest comfortably knowing that you have an advisor in your corner who cares deeply about the long-standing success of you and your business and will work tirelessly to see it achieved.
This dynamic allows me to make every possible effort in attaining all your stated desires, while also permitting me the flexibility to be candid about the realities of a situation if necessary. In our relationship, honesty and transparency are as important as zealous advocacy, and I want to ensure you understand the full picture of any matter every step of the way.
Bottom-line, when it comes to the goals and needs of you or your business, I’m in it for the long haul.
More About Me
Born in Minneapolis but raised right here in Des Moines, I am proud to deem myself a lifetime Iowan. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in 2014 and then went on to Drake University Law School where I served as a staffer and member of the Editorial Board of the Drake Law Review, ultimately graduating with a J.D., with honors, in 2017.
I have spent much of my life in athletics, which deeply instilled values like discipline, effort, teamwork, and sacrifice. These values continue to serve me and the interests of my clients on a daily basis.
I am involved in the legal community as a member of the Polk County and Iowa State Bar Associations.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, playing softball and hockey, and getting in the occasional round of 18.
