Specialties

I partner with businesses to help you, the client, solve challenges and advance your objectives.  I guide both public and private companies in navigating a variety of complex strategic, transactional and regulatory matters.  I also assist business creditors in maximizing recovery both inside and outside of bankruptcy.  I assist in developing practical strategies to achieve desired results.  I believe that my role is to make your business better.

My Approach

I get to know clients so that I can understand your perspective.  I have found that is the best way to identify both the opportunities and the problems your business faces every day and assist in finding creative solutions.  Sometimes this may mean understanding an industry inside and out.  Other times this may mean supplying expertise to assist with a complicated legal issue.  I believe that most often clients are best served by an attorney who is responsive, listens and understands your particular situation and then partners with you to develop a practical approach while managing risk.
