I am an associate attorney at BrownWinick with a focus on business and corporate law. Whether I am forming a limited liability company, helping a business raise millions of dollars, or advising on a complex transaction, I am committed to providing quality legal advice.
My Approach
I believe that all legal advice should be tailored to meet a client’s specific needs. I do this by taking the time to understand your current situation and goals. I also strive to be responsive and keep things moving so you can reach your goals in a timely manner.
Further, if a prospective client hires me, they also get the expertise of all attorneys at BrownWinick, which is one of Iowa’s largest law firms. Using this team-based approach ultimately results in enhanced legal services.
More About Me
I received my J.D., with distinction, and M.B.A., with distinction, from the University of Iowa. During law school, I served on the editorial board of the Journal of Corporation Law. My student note, Knowledge is Not Necessarily Power: Sandbagging in New York M&A Transactions, was published in the 42nd volume of the Journal of Corporation Law.
Prior to joining BrownWinick, I was a summer analyst at a private equity fund. I also provided consulting services for a separate private equity fund. I routinely find that my prior work experience and business related education helps me assist clients more effectively.
I am a member of the Polk County and Iowa State Bar Associations. I am also actively involved in the Technology Association of Iowa.
