My name is Amy Johnson – I am a business lawyer and I primarily help businesses that are going through an acquisition or sale transaction or that are entering into contractual relationships with other businesses. In part due to my background growing up in rural Iowa, I also provide timely advice to a large number of varied agribusinesses, both large and small, on issues that are of interest or concern to them.
My goal is to help you deal with legal issues in a disciplined manner by keeping your focus on the big picture while always working with you to keep in mind your business objectives – it should not be the tail wagging the dog! I strive to understand up front what motivates you as a client, what drives you and your business and what your objectives are so that you can be comfortable that you have an experienced and trusted advisor on your side. Most importantly, I will always communicate with you in a timely fashion – your emails will not sit in my inbox and your voicemails will not go unanswered.
