BrownWinick dental attorneys volunteered for the IOWA MISSION OF MERCY, which was held on September 23 and 24, 2016 at the Five Flags Center in Dubuque, Iowa. This annual event is sponsored by the Iowa Dental Foundation and in 2016 provided over $850,000 in free dental care.
A number of BrownWinick dental attorneys volunteered for the IOWA MISSION OF MERCY (IOWAMOM), which was held on September 23 and 24, 2016 at the Five Flags Center in Dubuque, Iowa.
This two-day event, sponsored by the Iowa Dental Foundation, allows children andadult patients, regardless of income or previous dental history, to receive free, quality dental care provided by dental professionals. In addition to the volunteer efforts of dental professionals, hundreds of general volunteers provided assistance in all areas, including set up, child care, patient check in and patient escorting.
This year IOWAMOM was able to provide 1,368 procedures to 919 patients, totally over $850,000 in free dental care. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of the volunteers, IOWAMOM was a successful event.
