I enjoy learning about you and your industry and providing peace of mind when issues arise. As your attorney, my goal is to develop an in-depth understanding of you and the issue and use innovative solutions to act as your advocate.
My Approach
When approaching a complex legal issue, I strive to develop a deep understanding of you and your goals to craft a practical and effective strategy. I believe being exceedingly prepared and maintaining clear communication is essential to effective resolution. I am emphatic that legal conflict is stressful and time consuming – my job is to make it as painless and effortless as possible.
More About Me
Having grown up in Des Moines, I have an appreciation for the local community and all it has to offer. I received my B.A. from Iowa State University in 2018 in Political Science. After undergrad, I worked for a year in the association management industry where I received a wide range of experiences that lead to my interest in small business. I graduated from Drake University with my J.D., high honors, in 2022, and was admitted to the Iowa Bar that same year. During my time at Drake, I was the Media Editor of the Drake Law Review, served as a Legal Research Teaching Assistant, and externed for the Honorable Justice Edward Mansfield of the Iowa Supreme Court. I also completed the Iowa Supreme Court Scholar Research Opportunity, during which I wrote and presented on an article with the Honorable Justice Edward Mansfield. I am currently a member of the Polk County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations as well as the Polk County Women Attorneys.
