I like to get to the point quickly. I believe that good legal advice should be like good legal writing: complete, concise, and easy to understand. Accordingly, I prioritize having clear communication and organization throughout each matter to help you achieve your goals.  

More About Me

I am a proud Iowa native. I grew up in Cedar Falls, Iowa and took a brief detour after high school to Missouri for college. I graduated from Truman State University summa cum laude with a degree in Music. I returned to Iowa for law school and graduated from Iowa Law with distinction in 2015. 

After graduation, I clerked for the Honorable Thomas D. Waterman at the Iowa Supreme Court. I had the privilege of working alongside Justice Waterman, which gave me an in-depth look at Iowa appellate practice at the highest level. Following my clerkship, I joined a Des Moines law firm doing primarily insurance defense. From 2018 through 2023, I worked for a large national law firm in its Des Moines office. In that role, I worked on a wide variety of cases in state and federal courts across the country.  

I have been selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers®-Ones to Watch in Product Liability Litigation- Defendants and Professional Malpractice Law.
