More About Me

For me, the simple question “Where are you from?” comes with a complicated answer. I’m fortunate to call many places home – Minneapolis, Minnesota; Miami, Florida; Lausanne, Switzerland; and Des Moines, Iowa. My international upbringing gave me a passion for travel and adventure. While completing my undergraduate degrees at Iowa State University (go Cyclones!), I studied abroad in Italy and South Africa.

I graduated in 2017 from Iowa State with a B.A in Political Science, a B.S. in Business Management with a minor in Economics. In 2021, I received a J.D., with honors, from Drake Law school and a M.B.A from Drake University College of Business and Public Administration. Prior to joining BrownWinick, I worked as an attorney at a boutique employment litigation law firm. I was admitted to the Iowa bar in 2021 and the Nebraska bar in 2023.

While at Drake Law School, I dedicated my time to the Drake Legal Clinic, serving clients in the Refugee, Criminal Defense, and Entrepreneurial and Transactional clinics. In 2021, I received the Edwin Earle Fergusion Prize Silver Award for outstanding public service through legal assistance. In 2024, I was selected as a Rising Star by SuperLawyers®.
