Anna R. Muyskens

 As an associate attorney at the BrownWinick Law Firm, I work primarily in the Estate Planning practice group. I strive to make the process of estate planning accessible to you, and to provide advice that is oriented to your particular needs. It is my intent to develop a relationship with you and walk with you both as we create your initial estate plan, and as your needs may change throughout the various stages of your life.

When it comes to my work in estate planning, I make your priorities as important to me as I know they are important to you. I understand that discussing estate planning can, at times, be both stressful and overwhelming. In any event, it is always deeply personal. With that in mind, I make it my mission to understand your unique situation and your unique wishes. Together, we will craft a plan specifically tailored to your goals, ensuring that your assets are protected, your wishes are recognized, and you and your loved ones are taken care of during every aspect of your lives.

More About Me

I was born and raised in the Des Moines area. I love both the community and the people here. I attended Iowa State University, where I graduated summa cum laude in 2021 with a B.S. in Psychology, as well as minors in Criminal Justice and Political Science. Knowing that I ultimately wanted to plant roots in the same community where I grew up, I then attended Drake University Law School, where I graduated in 2024 with High Honors. Upon graduation, I was admitted to the Iowa Bar.

While at Drake University Law School, I was a junior editor for the Drake Law Review, and I also practiced at the Drake Legal Clinic as a student attorney in the Children's Rights Clinic. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, trying local restaurants around the Des Moines area, going to the movies, reading, and traveling.
