BrownWinick Volunteers at Iowa Mission of Mercy 2018

BrownWinick volunteered for the Iowa Mission of Mercy (IMOM), which was held on October 5-6, 2018 at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

This two-day event, sponsored by the Iowa Dental Foundation, allows children and adult patients, regardless of income or previous dental history, to receive free, quality dental care provided by dental professionals. Since the first IMOM in 2008, almost 13,000 patients from all areas of the state and beyond have received free dental care totaling almost $8.5 million.

In addition to the volunteer efforts of dental professionals, BrownWinick’s attorneys and staff assisted by volunteering as patients’ escorts and organizing their needed dental services. BrownWinick attorneys and staff have served as general volunteers at every IMOM since it began in 2008.
