Employers Should Continue Using Current I-9 Form

The I-9 Form should be used for all newly-hired employees to verify their identity and authorization to work in the United States. USCIS has advised that until further notice, employers should continue using the I-9 Form currently available on the forms page of the  USCIS website:http://www.uscis.gov. 
  
This form should continue to be used even after the OMB control expiration date of August 31, 2012 passes. USCIS will provide updated information about the new I-9 Form as it becomes available. Please contact a BrownWinick Employment Attorney if you have questions about the I-9 process.
