In my role as an employment and litigation attorney at BrownWinick, I strive to be a trusted advisor and problem-solver for you. As a senior business manager with over 15 years of leadership experience, I’ve weathered all sorts of challenges. I can relate to you and predict your needs because I’ve likely been there before. Whether it be a disruptive legal dispute, complex personnel issue, confusing regulation, or other crisis, I’ll be a steady and resilient resource for your team. When you work with me, you’re getting a team player who understands business and brings practical solutions to the table.

My Approach

In my practice, I prioritize clarity, practicality, and adaptability. I believe in simplifying legal concepts so that you feel empowered to make informed decisions. I will help you cut through the noise and remain focused on what’s important. Beyond merely resolving issues, I see my role as equipping you with knowledge and tools to navigate future challenges with confidence. Whether you prefer to dive into the details or delegate tasks, I’m here to support you in a way that best resonates with your preferences. Let me carry the weight of your legal issues so you can remain focused on driving your business forward. When we work together, you can feel confident that you have a legal resource on your side who will approach your issue strategically and handle your legal matters with great diligence and care.

More About Me

I graduated from Drake Law school in 2019 with highest honors. I also hold an MBA from Western Governors University and a B.A. in Political Science from Indiana University. Prior to joining BrownWinick, I worked for 15 years in management positions for privately held, industry-leading corporations. This included serving as in-house counsel for a large Iowa manufacturing company for four years leading its employment and labor practice. Before practicing law, I worked for five years in corporate Human Resources and was a senior manager for compensation, benefits, HRIS, and workforce planning. I also have experience as a project manager, account manager, and general manager overseeing a line of strategic business units for a national auto-finance company. In addition to my corporate experience, I have also represented a professional athlete since 2021.

I was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana, and lived in Indianapolis for 10 years before moving to Iowa. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking, and racing triathlons.
