I have always enjoyed a good game. Whether it’s an old-fashioned jigsaw puzzle, an escape room, a board game, or anywhere in between, I love learning new rules, putting together the pieces, and, of course, the thrill of victory. To those who know me well, it came as no surprise that I ended up in the legal field. My practice is primarily focused on Real Estate Law, Corporate Transactional Law and Renewable Energy Law, but I will work with you to help you solve any issue you may encounter. Every day, I put my passion for puzzling to work for my clients.

My Approach

While I approach the law in much of the same way I do a board game, I see my role first and foremost as a guide. My aim as your lawyer is to give you all the pieces you need to find the solution that is right for you and your business. The complexity of law can be dizzying, but I aim to provide a comprehensive, concise explanation so you can accomplish your goals and feel confident in your business decisions.

More About Me

After graduating from Coe College in 2017 with a B.A. in communication studies, I embarked on a year-long Fulbright scholarship in Tha Sala, Thailand. I then attended the University of Minnesota Law School where I earned my J.D., in 2022. While there, I served as an article editor on the Minnesota Law Review and as secretary for the Environmental and Energy Law Society. After graduating I was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 2022.

Prior to BrownWinick, I have worked across a variety of industries and in a variety of settings, from corporate in-house to governmental agency, which has provided me with a broad perspective on our legal system.

In my spare time, I enjoy attending plays, doting on my many plants, and planning game nights with my family and friends.
